July 9 - Travel to Geneva
Depart Washington D.C. area airport for flight/time TBD. The general recommendation is to arrive 2-3 hours early for international flights). Don’t forget your passport! (Overnight flight, sleep on the plane)
July 10 - Arrival Day, Geneva Tour & Women’s Euro Game 1
Land in Geneva (GVA). Your ActivSport Travel trip leaders will be waiting for you outside the secured area (after you collect your luggage). We will embark on a guided walking tour of Genva, exploring the city's key landmarks like the Jet d'Eau and the historic Old Town. In the evening, immerse yourself in the thrilling atmosphere of the Women's Euro 2025 by attending a match in Geneva featuring Finland vs Switzerland, creating unforgettable memories of sport and exploration.

July 11 - Sion Tour & Women’s Euro Game #2
Wake up in the stunning alpine town of Chamonix, known for its breathtaking views and vibrant atmosphere. Afterward, embark on a scenic journey to Sion, Switzerland, a city steeped in history and surrounded by vineyards and mountain landscapes. Upon arrival, hop on a bike to explore the city’s highlights, including its medieval castles, charming Old Town, and riverside trails. Sion’s unique mix of ancient heritage and modern flair makes it an unforgettable stop on the journey. In the evening we will attend our second Women’s Euro 2025 soccer match, Portugal vs Belgium.

July 12 - Chamonix Day
Today marks your final day in Chamonix. The day is yours to enjoy with a selection of self-directed activities tailored to your preferences.
For those seeking breathtaking views, take the Aiguille du Midi cable car, one of the highest in the world, to marvel at panoramic vistas of the Alps, including Mont Blanc.
Adventure enthusiasts can explore Chamonix’s extensive network of trails with a guided or solo hike, suitable for all levels. Options range from gentle walks through alpine meadows to more challenging treks with awe-inspiring mountain views.
You may choose to spend the day wandering Chamonix’s charming streets. Explore its quaint boutiques, savor local delicacies at one of the many cafes, or visit the Alpine Museum to learn about the area’s history and mountaineering legacy.
You may even indulge in a spa treatment at a luxurious wellness center or simply sit back and enjoy the peaceful ambiance of this stunning alpine retreat.

July 13 - Travel to Gothenburg
Today marks an exciting transition as we leave the stunning alpine town of Chamonix and head to Gothenburg, Sweden, the host city of the Gothia Cup, the world’s largest and most international youth soccer tournament.
In the morning, we will travel to Geneva, Switzerland, for a short flight to Gothenburg. Upon arrival, you’ll transfer to your tournament accommodations, where you’ll settle in and get oriented with your surroundings. This is a perfect opportunity to familiarize yourself with the facilities and prepare for the exciting days ahead.
Once you’ve unpacked and relaxed, you’ll proceed to the Gothia Cup check-in to complete the registration process. Here, you’ll receive essential tournament materials such as schedules, maps, and identification passes. During this time, you’ll also get an overview of tournament logistics, including match locations, transportation options, and details about the opening ceremony.
The rest of the day provides time to explore the vibrant city of Gothenburg or relax at your accommodations, ensuring you’re ready for the tournament’s high-energy activities. The excitement builds as you join thousands of players and teams from around the globe in anticipation of this unforgettable soccer experience.

July 14-19 - Gothia Cup Tournament
Each day of your Gothia Cup experience will center around the tournament schedule, ensuring you’re fully immersed in this renowned global youth soccer event. Depending on your team’s match times, you’ll enjoy the thrill of competitive games, camaraderie with fellow players, and the chance to showcase your skills on an international stage.
When not competing, you’ll participate in a range of tournament activities, such as attending opening ceremonies, visiting the fan zone, or engaging in cultural exchanges with teams from around the world. These events foster friendships and connections that make the Gothia Cup a unique and unforgettable experience.
Additionally, based on your team’s schedule and availability, there will be opportunities to explore local attractions in and around Gothenburg, Sweden. Highlights may include visits to the iconic Liseberg Amusement Park, the Universeum Science Center, or the city’s historic canals and markets. These excursions allow you to experience Swedish culture and create lasting memories beyond the soccer field.

What’s Included
Trip Leader Services
Full-time Trip Leaders assigned to your group for the duration of the trip and available to answer questions, handle emergencies, etc.
Airfare
Round trip airfare, including taxes, fuel surcharges, and fees (package w/o flights available if you would prefer to purchase your own airfare).
Two Meals a Day*
Breakfast at your hotel each, and either a lunch or dinner each day are included. *Meals provided during the Gothia Cup may vary.
Guided Tours/Activities
All guided tours/activities (including entrance fees) to cultural/historic sites, museums, and other points of interest as listed are included throughout the tour.
Sports Expenses
All sport related expenses (sport facilities, referees, and other associated costs), which includes registration fee for the 2025 Gothia Cup.
Other Meals
One meal per day is not included to provide you with the opportunity to explore and select your own local food.
Ground Transportation
All ground transportation costs upon arrival (including fuel surcharges, tolls, and parking).
Women’s Euro Tickets
Match day tickets for 2 Women’s Euro games (Geneva & Sion).
Accommodations*
