For the 2024 edition of the ActivSport Travel Friends & Family Ski Trip, we are once again heading to Chamonix, one of the world’s greatest ski areas! We offer this inclusive package “at cost” to our guests using our discounted industry rates. While Chamonix may be most famous for its extreme skiing (which is undoubtedly a huge draw), it also has many slopes for intermediates and even beginners, all with spectacular views of Mont-Blanc and a vibrant village with bars, restaurants, shops, and plenty of activities for the non-skiers. Conveniently located only 90 minutes from Geneva International Airport (GVA), Chamonix is easy to access from international flights without a long transfer! Bring the whole family (Jeff, Jess, & JJ will be there!), your significant other, or come alone to join other fun people at what is always one of the most exciting weeks of the year!
Trip Cost (per person):
In a 2-bedroom chalet apartment shared by four people:
Without a ski pass - $880 per person (Ikon Pass holders/non-skiers)
With a six-day ski pass - $1240 per person (including local ski pass)
In a 3-bedroom chalet apartment shared by six people:
Without a ski pass - $830 per person (Ikon Pass holders/non-skiers)
With a six-day ski pass - $1190 per person
Once again, we will be staying at the Cristal de Jade, a modern and chic 5-star Residence. It’s multi-bedroom apartments offer a small kitchen, dining area, and communal living space. The Cristal de Jade has a spectacular location, its’ proximity to the Aiguille du Midi lift makes the Cristal de Jade perfect for skiing the Vallee Blanche, it’s proximity to the Chamonix Sud bus station makes it convenient for reaching the other ski areas in Chamonix, and Rue du Dr Pacaard, Chamonix’s main street with restaurants and shops, is only a short walk away. For your moments of relaxation, you can rely on the more than 3,000 m² wellness center with a pool, sauna, steam room, and sensory shower,

2-Bedroom Option
Without a ski pass: $880 per person (Ikon Pass holders/non-skiers)
With a ski pass: $1240 per person
Four people together can share a 2-bedroom apartment (double occupancy in each bedroom)
3-Bedroom Option
Without a ski pass: $830 per person (Ikon Pass holders/non-skiers)
With a ski pass: $1190 per person
Six people together can share a 3-bedroom apartment (double occupancy in each bedroom)
What’s Included
Lift Passes
Six-day Mont-Blanc Unlimited ski passes, valid at all the resorts in the Chamonix Valley (including the Aiguille du Midi and Montenvers - Mer de Glace train), as well as at Courmayeur in Italy, are included if you select the option that includes ski passes.
Accommodations at the Cristal de Jade
Each apartment has a living room, kitchen, and dining area.
What’s Not Included
Meals
Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are not included. Your apartment contains a small kitchen to cook your own meals or you can explore the culinary options of the town!
Security Deposit
A security deposit will be held until you depart and will not be charged as long as you leave the property in the condition you found it.
Travel Insurance
Travel Insurance to cover cancelations or any unexpected emergencies is available through our partner, Travel Guard, at an additional cost.
Flights
Flights are not included in the price. We recommend flying to Geneva Airport for the best ground connections to Samoëns. Once you have booked your flight, please submit your itinerary information using this form.
Ski Lessons
We recommend booking with ESF in Chamonix, which you can do here.
Ski Guide
We recommend booking a guide for some off-piste ski routes to keep you safe. Depending on the number of people interested, we will look into arranging one during the trip.
Add-Ons
Airport Transfers
Round-trip shared airport transfers to and from Geneva Airport (GVA) can be added for $95 round-trip (per person). This is available as an add-on when you register on WeTravel. If you have 4 or more people traveling together, a private transfer may be less expensive; contact us below for more information. We will need your flight information to complete the transfer, please submit it using this form. Please note that it may not not be possible to book a shared transfer if your flight arrival/departure is very early or late in the day. In this instance, a private transfer may be required.
Equipment Rentals
If you want to rent ski or snowboard equipment, we are happy to set that up for you with our partners at Skiset, just 150m from the Cristal de Jade. The cost depends on the equipment you need and the number of days. Click here to see pricing and to request a rental reservation.
