Explore the historic charm of Old San Juan, with its tree-shaded squares, monuments, and 17th-century walls housing shops and eateries. Immerse yourself in nature at El Yunque National Forest, the US's only tropical rainforest, where you can hike or rappel down waterfalls. February 23rd - Travel to San Juan
Depart from your airport of choice. Hotel transfers will be arranged based on arrival time.

February 24th - San Juan Tour
Today you will discover the charm and history of Old San Juan on a guided walking tour, including a 16th century fortress, Spanish colonial architecture, and the 2nd oldest cathedral in the Americas! Our friendly and knowledgeable local guide will take you through the fascinating history and sites of this culturally rich city that is older than any city in the continental United States! Free time to explore in the afternoon.

February 27th - Scuba/Snorkel
In the morning, we will transfer to Fajardo on the East coast of Puerto Rico. Here we will have a two site/two tank dive and snorkel. See more of the beautiful coral reefs of Puerto Rico and the abundant underwater life.
In the evening, we will take a kayaking adventure through quiet mangroves to the magical Bioluminescent Bay, which features a unique variety of plankton that glow in the dark when the water is touched or moved. Don’t worry, there are no snakes, alligators, or other dangerous wildlife to worry about here in Puerto Rico!

February 25th - Scuba/Snorkel/Sail
Today we will venture of the coast of San Juan for a two site/two tank dive and snorkel. See the beautiful coral reefs of Puerto Rico and the plethora of underwater life.
For those new to scuba diving, today will be about discovering and learning.
In the evening, we will set sail for a sunset cruise to relax.

February 26th - Castillo de San Felipe del Morro
In the morning, we will visit the Castillo de San Felipe del Morro, a colossal fort protecting San Juan that was built in 1540. In the afternoon we will tour the Bacardi factory, learn the story behind Bacardi, and taste some of the variety of rums (pre-selected add on).

March 1st - El Yunque Rainforest, Zipline and Luquillo Beach
Today you will spend the day exploring Puerto Rico’s most incredible natural wonder, the El Yunque Rainforest. Take a guided hike through El Yunque, the only tropical rainforest in the United States National Forest system, enjoying incredible mountain views, waterfalls, and flora.
In the afternoon, we will embark on a zipline adventure through the rainforest canopy (preselected addon). Others may head to beautiful Luquillo Beach, a true locals hang out, to relax, swim, and enjoy its legendary, thriving food kiosks featuring authentic Puerto Rican Cuisine!

February 28th - Culebra Adventure
Embark on a full-day adventure by boat to the Island of Culebra, known for its incredible snorkeling and diving, crystal clear waters, and Flamenco Beach, one of the top beaches in the Caribbean! You will travel there and back by ferry. Once on the island, we will take a hike to a remote beach to enjoy the laid-back Caribbean lifestyle. Snorkel and dive to explore the underwater sea life of Culebra’s protected reefs. Return on the ferry to Fajardo.

March 2nd - Fly Home
Check out of the hotel and departure for San Juan airport to fly home.
What’s Included
Trip Leader Services
Full-time Trip Leader assigned to the group for the duration of the trip and available to answer questions, handle emergencies, etc.
Meals
Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are not included. We may reserve space for the group to eat together, but individuals are responsible for costs.
Airfare
Round trip airfare, including taxes, fuel surcharges, and fees.
Scuba & Snorkel
Admission for all scuba, snorkeling, and sailing adventures. Equipment rental is separate.
Ground Transportation
All ground transportation costs upon arrival (including fuel surcharges, tolls, and parking).
Accommodations
Accommodation each night at group friendly properties.
Gratuity
Tips for ActivSport Trip Leaders, bus drivers, and/or local guides.
Security Deposit
A security deposit will be held until you depart and will not be charged as long as you leave the property in the condition you found it.

Incidentals
All incidentals including, but not limited to, phone calls, laundry, shopping, and additional sightseeing not on the itinerary.

If you want to rent scuba or snorkel equipment, we are happy to set that up for you with our partners. The cost depends on the equipment you need and the number of days.

Rooms will be shared amongst members of the group. If you prefer to have a room to yourself, you may pay for an upgrade.
Bacardi Factory & Tasting
Take a tour of the historic Bacardi factory and partake in a rum tasting.
