On the mountain, you will find a variety of well groomed trails and glades skiing through the Vermont maple trees! This winter wonderland has something for everyone with world class cross country skiing at nearby Trapp Family Lodge (of Von Trapp” Sound of Music” legend), snowshoeing, and more. The charming New England town of Stowe is located only 40 minutes from Burlington, VT airport and is an easy drive from New York, Boston, and the northeastern states!

Did You Know?: Stowe has the longest running ski patrol in the nation. It was founded in 1934, one year after the ski area was created by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). The National Ski Patrol was modeled after the one at Stowe.
