Vermont Mountains Winter Adventure Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at your accommodations, meet your local ActivSport Travel representatives who will go over your itinerary and assist with any last minute questions, needs, etc. After, you will have time to check in and relax before an evening horse drawn sleigh ride on the trails at Trapp Family Lodge (the property of the Von Trapp family from the “Sound of Music” movie). Dinner at Trapp Family Lodge.
Day 2: Embark on a snowshoeing adventure through the pristine Vermont forests stopping for lunch and hot beverages along the way. After, take a walking tour of Stowe, a charming New England village named one of the top 10 ski towns in America. In the evening, enjoy a catered dinner in the comfort of your own “home”, featuring local cuisine with cider, beer and wine pairings.
Day 3: Experience one of nature’s authentic thrills, powered by a team of “man’s best friends”! Learn about dog sledding from an expert musher and then hit the trails with the team of Arctic rescue and retired competition dogs. After lunch and hot drinks, you will enjoy an afternoon Fat Bike adventure, an exciting way to enjoy the snowy trails! Evening for dinner and to relax.

Day 4: It’s time to get your adrenaline going with a snowmobile adventure! Vermont has fantastic snowmobile trail networks and you will ride along well-prepared trails on comfortable and well-equipped “sleds” (local for snowmobile). Your instructor/guide will help make this the adventure of a lifetime with a lunch stop along the way. Evening catered dinner in the comfort of your own “home”, featuring local cuisine with cider, beer, and wine pairings.
Day 5: Morning cross-country skiing or snowshoeing and then check-out of your accommodations.
Accommodations: Choose from a selection of private homes, cabins, lodges, apartments, or hotels based on your comfort needs.

Breakfasts
To best suit each travel party's preferred morning schedule and privacy, we allow guests to bring their own food for breakfast to prepare in the comfort of their own accommodations.
Gratuity
Tips for ActivSport Trip Leaders local guides are appreciated but not manditory.
Security Deposit
Many accommodations providers require a security deposit that is held until you depart and will not be charged as long as you leave the property in the condition you found it.
Travel Insurance
Travel Insurance to cover cancelations or any unexpected emergencies is available through our partner, Travel Guard, at an additional cost.
