About the Trip
This is a custom ActivSport Travel trip created for players and their friends/family from the Bickerstaff Family Sports Select Basketball to participate in the Euro Youth Basketball Cup in Costa Brava and sightsee in and around Barcelona, Spain in June 2025.

What’s Included
Trip Leader Services
Full-time Trip Leaders assigned to your group for the duration of the trip and available to answer questions, handle emergencies, etc. Gratuity for trip leaders included in price.
Airfare
Round trip airfare, including taxes, fuel surcharges, and fees (package w/o flights available if you would prefer to purchase your own airfare).
Meals
All meals during the trip as follows:
3 Tournament Days: 3 meals/day
3 Non-Tournament Days: 2 meals/day (1 meal on your own to explore and discover local cuisine).
Guided Tours/Activities
All guided tours/activities (including entrance fees) to cultural/historic sites, museums, and other points of interest as listed are included throughout the tour.
Sports Expenses
Entrance into the Euro Youth Basketball Cup. Includes During Tournament: 3 Nights Full board, bus transfers to matches, 3-5 matches, tournament gift.
Ground Transportation
All ground transportation costs upon arrival (including fuel surcharges, tolls, and parking).
Accommodations
Accommodation each night at 3-star equivalent properties in: 3-4 persons/room for players and 2 persons/room for staff/family. Single Rooms available for a supplemental fee.

Trip Itinerary
June 11 - Depart from Denver
Depart Denver (DEN); don’t forget your passport!. We recommend arriving at the airport with plenty of time to spare (the general recommendation is to arrive 2-3 hours early for international flights). (Sleep on the plane)
June 12 - Arrival Day
Land in Barcelona (BCN). Your ActivSport Travel trip leaders will wait for you outside the secured area (after you collect your luggage). Transfer to our tournament hotel to drop bags/check in depending on arrival time. After, we will have some light activities along with time to rest after the long flight.

June 13 -Tournament Day #1
Today we will be your first day in the Euro Youth Basketball Tournament. Schedule TBD.

Today we will be your second day in the Euro Youth Basketball Tournament. Schedule TBD.

June 15 -Tournament Day #3
Today we will be your third day in the Euro Youth Basketball Tournament. Schedule TBD. Closing ceremonies in the afternoon.

June 16 - Travel to Barcelona, Barcelona City Tour
Today we will leave the tournament to discover Barcelona on a leisurely bike tour of the beautiful city. Highlights include the historic city center, Guadi’s Sagrada Familia, Barcelonetta beach, and more! After lunch you will have time to visit the famous La Rambla, the market, and free time for shopping and exploring.

June 17- Olympic Museum & Camp Nou
We will start our day with a visit to the Olympic Museum, featuring the 1992 Olympic games as well as other key moments in Olympic history, as well as the Olympic park. After, we will visit Montjuic castle.
In the afternoon, we will head to Camp Nou, home to FC Barcelona, for a stadium tour and a visit to their legendary club museum. After, we will have our farewell dinner and free time to enjoy our last night in Spain.
