About the Trip
This is a custom ActivSport Travel trip created for players from the Thomas College Women’s Soccer Team to combine soccer, culture, and adventure on a trip to Iceland in August 2025.

Trip Itinerary
July 2 - Travel to Paris
Depart Salt Lake City airport (SLC) flight/time TBD. The general recommendation is to arrive 2-3 hours early for international flights). Don’t forget your passport! (Overnight flight, sleep on the plane)
July 3 - Arrival Day & Paris Sites
Land in Paris (CDG). Your ActivSport Travel trip leaders will be waiting for you outside the secured area (after you collect your luggage). We will head into Paris on a private coach bus then check into the hotel. Depending on your arrival time, we will begin our visit to some of Paris’s sites. Dinner together as a group, evening to relax.

July 4 - Paris Bike Tour & Practice
We will discover Paris on an unforgettable morning Bike Tour (definitely the best way to see the city!) and a Seine River Cruise. Sites will include: Champs de Mars, Notre Dame Cathedral, Ile de la Cite, Ile Saint Louis, Berthillon’s Ice Cream Parlor, Academie Francaise, Princess Diana Flame, Invalides, Ecole Militaire, Napoleon’s Tomb, and more! Team lunch together, then Team practice in the afternoon/evening. (Sleep Paris)
July 5 - Game Day #1
Day to relax before your first scrimmage game. Based on coach’s input, free time to walk around, explore, shopping, etc. Evening scrimmage vs local team TBD.

July 6 - Louvre, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, Latin Quarter
After breakfast, we will visit the world’s most famous art museum, the Louvre, where you can see some of history’s most famous art work and artifacts including the Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo. After, we will visit the Arc de Triomphe and walk to the top of the monument. After, we will visit the Cathedral of Notre Dame (inside closed until Dec. 2024), and walk through the Latin Quarter.

July 7 - Game Day #2
Day to relax before your second scrimmage game. Based on coach’s input, free time to walk around, explore, shopping, etc. Evening scrimmage vs local team TBD.

July 8 - Game Day #3

July 9 - Musee d’Orsay & Eiffel Tower
Today starts with a visit to the Musee d’Orsay, Paris’s “impressionists” art and sculpture museum for works created after the period of the Louvre including Monet, Manet, Van Gogh, etc. After we will ascend the Eiffel Tower for Paris’s best view, then allow for last day free time exploration before an evening farewell dinner in the to cap off the trip. July 10 - Fly Home
Depart Paris (CDG) on flight TBD to fly home!
What’s Included
Trip Leader Services
Full-time Trip Leaders assigned to your group for the duration of the trip and available to answer questions, handle emergencies, etc.
Airfare
Round trip airfare, including taxes, fuel surcharges, and fees. Packages w/o flights is available for those with alternative travel plans before/after the trip. Please inquire with AS Travel to make arrangements.
Guided Tours/Activities
All guided tours/activities (including entrance fees) to cultural/historic sites, museums, and other points of interest as listed are included throughout the tour.
Ground Transportation
All ground transportation costs upon arrival (including fuel surcharges, tolls, and parking).
Accommodations
Accommodation each night at 3 star equivalent properties in triple or quadruple occupancy.
Meals
Two meals per day: breakfast + lunch or dinner (varies based on the daily schedule).
