Puerto Rico

Rome
Rome is like no other city in the world. Relatively small and compact, it is a perfect blend of northern and southern Italian cultures fused together into beautiful chaos. Some say it’s throwing a coin into the Trevi Fountain that keeps you coming back to Rome, but for me, it’s the smiling faces, the smell of delicious cuisine coming from a narrow cobblestone alley, and a deep sense of reverence for the history of the ground on which I am standing that brings me back time and time again.
Rome also provides a perfect launching point to explore the many landscapes of Italy, including rolling hills covered in grapevines, colorful villages perched over the sea, and towering mountain spires.
Civil Rights Trail
AS Travel’s “Civil Rights Awareness Tour” is a comprehensive educational experience focusing on the struggles and successes of African Americans from the time of slavery up to the present day. Our carefully designed itinerary takes you to some of the most important places of the Civil Rights Trail, including Atlanta, Montgomery, Selma, and Birmingham. You will learn, firsthand, from the experiences of our local guides who have lived and breathed the Civil Rights Movement and develop a sense of awareness for the sacrifices that so many have made in the name of equality. This trip is “living history” and the understanding of the struggle for Civil Rights is as important now as it has ever been. Along the way, you will enjoy delicious Soul Food, southern hospitality, authentic music, and a vibrant culture that has contributed so much to our country and the world beyond.
Costa Rica
Costa Rica is all about the outdoors. You should visit Costa Rica because it is one of the most biodiverse and naturally beautiful places on planet Earth with over 500,000 species calling it home, on land and in the sea. You can go river rafting, canyoning, cave tubing, and zip lining; relax by the beach, see animals in their native habitat, learn about a new culture. Because Costa Rica offers a little bit of everything, even the pickiest travelers will find something to satisfy their tastes, making this a truly unique destination!
Portugal
Portugal is a country defined by its connection to the sea. During the age of exploration, Portuguese sailors left from its dock to explore the world: off to discover new lands and bring home exotic goods. The results of this trade are evident to this day in the unique cuisine of the city. Fresh seafood, of course, is a major element in that cuisine. Atlantic currents also ensure that Portugal is comfortable to visit year-round: not as hot as neighboring Spain in Summer and kept mild in winter. When walking around its capital city Lisbon, the city's many hills ensure that a glimpse of the water is never far away.
