About the Trip
This is a custom ActivSport Travel Tour created for an ActivSport Travel Group to sight-see and experience some of Barcelona and Rome's most culturally rich destinations in June of 2024. The trip combines sportCity tours, cultural excursions, and other activities as listed, are all included throughout the tour.
8 Days/7 Nights
Group Pricing will depend on the group size, origin airport, time of year, and other custom elements.
What’s Included
Trip Leader Services
Full-time Trip Leaders assigned to your team for the duration of the trip and available to answer questions, handle emergencies, etc.
Airfare
Round trip airfare, including taxes, fuel surcharges, and fees (package w/o flights available if you would prefer to purchase your own airfare).
Guided Tours/Activities
All guided tours/activities (including entrance fees) to cultural/historic sites, museums, games and sports related expenses, and other points of interest as listed are included throughout the tour.
Ground Transportation
All ground transportation costs upon arrival (including fuel surcharges, tolls, and parking).
Accommodations
Accommodation each night at 3 & 4-star equivalent properties.
Meals
Two meals per day: breakfast + lunch or dinner (varies based on the daily schedule).

All sport related expenses (sport facilities, referees, and other associated costs).

All incidentals including, but not limited to, phone calls, laundry, shopping, and additional sightseeing not on the itinerary.

Sample Itinerary
Day 1 - Overnight Flight to Barcelona
Depart your airport on a flight to Barcelona; don’t forget your passport!
Day 2 - Arrive in Barcelona
Arrive at Barcelona airport where the ActivSport Travel staff will meet you outside baggage claim, transfer to your hotel. Time to clean up prior to dinner and then the evening is free to relax and recover from travel.

Day 3 - Barcelona Bike Tour, Sport Competition
Today we discover Barcelona on an unforgettable guided bike tour, certainly the best way to visit the city! Highlights will include Las Ramblas, the Gothic Quarter and its narrow picturesque streets, Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia, and more! There will be time for shopping and exploration. Sport competition #1.

Day 4 - Barcelona Olympic Sites
For our final day in Barcelona, we will start with a visit to the Olympic sites at Montjuic, including the Olympic museum which features the 1992 Summer Olympic Games, followed by a visit to Placa Espagna. After, you will have free time for the beach, shopping, and last day exploration. Sport practice in the evening.

Day 5 - Travel to Rome, Visit Colosseum, Roman Forum
Take a morning flight from Barcelona to Rome. Begin with a guided visit to Rome’s most popular spots including the Coliseum, and Roman Forum.. After, we will check into our hotel and have time to relax. Continue our sightseeing of Rome including the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona and the Campo di Fiori. Evening free to enjoy Rome.

Day 6 - Vatican, St. Peter's & Competition
Today we will visit the famous Vatican Museum including the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. After, you will have last day free time to relax and enjoy Rome prior to Sport Competition #2.

Day 7 - Free Time for Exploration
For our final day in Italy we will allow free time for shopping and for personal exploration. In the evening we will have our farewell dinner to cap off the trip!

Day 8 -Morning in Rome, Flight back to the US
Fly from Rome (FCO) to your home airport.
