The ASTravel trip to Netherlands & Germany is expertly crafted to harmoniously blend education and/or sports with the rich cultural tapestry and myriad adventure experiences these countries have to offer.
Traveling to Netherlands and Germany offers a fascinating blend of experiences that cater to a wide range of interests. On the other hand, Germany boasts a diverse landscape, from the enchanting Black Forest to the bustling metropolises of Berlin and Munich, offering a mix of history, art, and culinary delights. Whether you're drawn to Netherlands’s iconic tulip season or Germany's rich history and stunning landscapes, a journey to these countries promises an unforgettable experience.
Trip pricing will vary depending on trip dates, origin airport, group size, other special requests, and final customized itinerary.
Sample Trip Itinerary
Day 1 - Travel to Amsterdam
Arrive at the airport with plenty of time to spare (the general recommendation is to arrive 3 hours early for international flights). Depart Home Airport; don’t forget your passport! (Sleep on the plane)
Day 2- Arrival Day
Land in beautiful Amsterdam. Your ActivSport Travel trip leaders will be waiting for you outside the secured area (after you collect your luggage). Check into the hotel. After check-in to hotel, we will have the opportunity to stretch our legs on a bike tour through the picturesque streets of Zaanse Schans. We will tour the historic Anne Frank House.

Day 3 - Museum Day
The group will have the opportunity to visit either the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam or the Rijks Museum. In the evening, enjoy some free time to shop and explore.

Day 4 - Canal Tour
Today we will take a canal tour of Amsterdam, a city tied to the water and grown around its canals. Afternoon free time to explore & shop.

Day 5 - Travel to Munich
Depart Amsterdam for Munich via a short flight. After checkin into the hotel, we will have a bike tour of Munich and many of its famous sites; English Garden, the Asamkirche, Marienplatz, and many more.

Day 6 - Munich and Dachau
We will head north of the city to the Nazi concentration camp of Dachau. This is an area to reflect on the history and learn from the past. After, we will have time to relax, shop and explore Munich.

Day 7 - Whitewater Rafting Adventure
Head to Ruhpolding, where the team will go on a whitewater rafting adventure that crosses the border between Germany and Austria. After we will visit Lake Koenigsee for lunch with view’s of Hitler’s Eagles Nes.

Day 8 - Hiking Day
We will start the day with a nice and light hike of Rauschberg to get the best views of the Alps.

Day 9 Travel
Travel back to the USA depending on flights.
What’s Included
Airfare
Round trip airfare, including taxes, fuel surcharges, and fees (package w/o flights available if you would prefer to purchase your own airfare).
Accommodations
Accommodation each night at group-friendly properties in double or triple occupancy.
Guided Tours/Activities
All guided tours/activities (including entrance fees) to cultural/historic sites, rainforest adventures, and other points of interest as listed are included throughout the tour.
Sports Expenses
All sport related expenses (sport facilities, referees, and other associated costs).
Ground Transportation
All ground transportation costs upon arrival (including fuel surcharges, tolls, and parking).
Trip Leader Services
Full-time Trip Leaders assigned to your group for the duration of the trip and available to answer questions, handle emergencies, etc.
Two Meals a Day
Breakfast at your hotel each day, and a either lunch or dinner each day are included.
