What’s Included
Trip Leader Services
Full-time Trip Leaders assigned to your group for the duration of the trip and available to answer questions, handle emergencies, etc.
Airfare
Round trip airfare, including taxes, fuel surcharges, and fees (package w/o flights available if you would prefer to purchase your own airfare).
Guided Tours/Activities
All guided tours/activities (including entrance fees) to cultural/historic sites, rainforest adventures, and other points of interest as listed are included throughout the tour.
Sports Expenses
All sport related expenses (sport facilities, referees, and other associated costs).
Other Meals
You will be responsible for your own meals beyond the two that are included each day. This will provide an opportunity to choose your own food!
Ground Transportation
All ground transportation costs upon arrival (including fuel surcharges, tolls, and parking). This includes the ferry from Argentina to Uruguay.
Accommodations
Accommodation each night at 3-star equivalent properties in double or triple occupancy.
Two Meals a Day
Breakfast at your hotel each day, and a either lunch or dinner each day are included.

Trip Itinerary
Day 1 - Travel to Argentina
Arrive at the airport with plenty of time to spare (the general recommendation is to arrive 3 hours early for international flights). Depart Home Airport; don’t forget your passport!

Day 2 - Welcome to Buenos Aires
Land in Buenos Aires (EZE). Your ActivSport Travel trip leaders will wait for you outside the secured area (after you collect your luggage). Check into the hotel. In the afternoon, we will have a short orientation walk around the neighborhood, including Dorrego Square, where you can experience the weekend street markets and scope out some spontaneous tango performances. We will also visit the Mercado de San Telmo (indoor food market), where you will have the option to try Argentinia Empanadas and other local delicacies.

Day 3 - Buenos Aires Tour
In the morning, we will take a guided tour through Buenos Aires, the “Reina del Plata.” Highlights include the Floris Generalis, a giant flower sculpture, Bosques de Palermo ("Palermo Woods"), an urban park known for its groves, lakes, and rose gardens, the glamorous Recoleta, which is famous for its French-style buildings, green parks, fancy bars, excellent restaurants and high-class shops, and finally, the most beautiful bookstore in the world, Grand Splendid Ateneo Bookstore. Along the way, we will stop for lunch where you will have the opportunity to try the Bondiola Sandwich (Pork meat Sandwich)or a Choripan(Sausage Sandwich) a traditional lunch for Argentineans.

Day 4 - Community Service Event & Sports Museum
Football is more than just a sport in Argentina – Football is a religion, but most know it is much more important than that. The blue and yellow of Boca Juniors, the most supported team in Argentina, can be seen everywhere, competing with the red and white of hated rivals, River Plate. We will visit the Boca Juniors Museum where we will learn about this world-famous club.
In the afternoon we will work with a local organization on a service project to help the community.

Day 5- Delta del Tigre
Replace the bustle of Buenos Aires with the green countryside of the Tigre Delta! A popular weekend getaway for Buenos Aires locals, the delta offers lush scenery, a relaxing atmosphere, and a chance to see another way of Argentine life and a boat ride that will bring us back to Buenos Aires. Along the way, we will have a three-course meal at Maria Lujan Ristaurante.

Day 6 - San Antonio de Areco
Today we depart on a full day excursion to San Antonio de Areco, the prettiest town in the pampas. An easy drive from the capital, San Antonio de Areco has a peaceful atmosphere, picturesque colonial streets and is surrounded by lush countryside. This town is particularly known for it’s gaucho (Argentine cowboy) traditions, especially among its artisans, who produce fine silverwork and saddlery. After a tour of town, we will visit Estancia el Ombu de Areco, a countryside estate where we will be received with Empanadas and then enjoy a traditional Asado Argentino with beverages

Day 7 -Transfer to Iguazu
Today we will depart early to transfer to Iguazu (2hr flight). Upon arrival we will have a welcome Lunch at Puerto Canoas Restaurant (with a view to the falls) After we will take an excursion to get a panoramic view of the Falls, appreciation of the set of falls on the Argentine side. Day 8 - Iguazu Falls & Adventure
Today we will travel to the falls for a more in-depth visit. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the Iguazú Falls are a sublime spectacle.
The morning will be walking tour of the falls and its magnificent landscape.
The afternoon will be a “soaking experience” in boats driven by expert sailors with an approach to the falls. After observing all the falls, you will navigate the Lower Iguazú River with rapids and jungle. Finally, you will travel the Yacaratiá Trail in the wonderful missionary jungle in four-wheel drive vehicles.
Thematic Argentine dinner.

Day 9 - Zip Line & Transfer to Buenos Aires
In the morning you will fly through the jungle on several zip lines, repelling into a refreshing pool at the end.
In the afternoon, we will transfer back to Buenos Aires.
Farwell Tango Dinner.

Day 11 & 12 - Fly Home
Depending on your flight timing, we may have additional free time before your flight, which likely departs in the evening. Fly through the night and arrive home.
